What visitors really means?

  I seen a case where I have one visitor and four views. However, the views were from four different countries! So, what visitor means?

  it can take a few hours for visitor count to catch up to page view counts – it’s due to the extra checking required to determine if someone has already visited your site today – things should even out a few hours after midnight
