what will happen if i make a public post on a private blog

  can you tell me how it will appear like when i make a public post on a private blog or vice versa
  also please answer about password protection of blogs and posts
  and what is a primary blog and how it matters

  If a post is set to private then the only one that can see it is the administrator of the blog, regardless of whether the blog is private or not. No one else, anywhere will be able to see that private post.

  If the blog itself is set to private, then no post, no matter how it is set can be seen by the public.

  If you have a blog set to private, and you have invited people to as visitors, then they will be able to see posts that you publish that are NOT set to private.
