What’s happened to our poll?

About a month ago we made a post with a poll on the page. It all seemed very straightforward and there was a selection of poll themes to choose from. We liked what we selected and thought it suited our blog. We had no intention of anyone using it until children had returned to school this september, but were happy with it and left it until we were ready. Now we’re just about ready and our pretty on-page poll has disappeared to be replaced with a link to the poll elsewhere – we really need to keep things simple. Why has this happened it really makes us feel like we’re not in control of our blog!
