What’s Happening to WordPress?
-
I came back to WP to update my site for another charity event.
First, the theme wasn’t supported anymore! The way WP it… Your theme has been retired!
They then recommended Masu, a WP theme. After several weeks of getting it sorted, I found to bugs… I could only display up to 50 posts and I couldn’t move content from one menu item to another. The reply: You’ve found a bug, we will look into this and SHARE this with you if we find a solution. However, they then go on to say, we don’t know how long this will take!
During this time I keep paying for a site that I can’t use.
I was told to use another template, twenty twenty three. So, I’ve got to rebuild my site again!
Now, I’ve just had an email from WP telling me that no longer will we be able to post to Twitter directly from WP.
What is happening to WP!
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The fact you can no longer post to Twitter is because Twitter blocks automatic posting from outside.
Why wouldn’t you be able to use your site? I see your site is up and running fine.

I’m going to close this thread since we’ve been in contact via live chat and email several times since this one was posted.

Strangely enough mine is still publishing to Twitter. Perhaps if I hold my breath Elon will allow me to continue posting.

By default, the automatic sharing to Twitter was discontinued on April 30th. Please keep monitoring that. You can still share your posts to Twitter manually by pasting the post link into the body of your tweet.
If you have any more questions let me know!
