The more details you provide such as URLs the easier it is to help you. -
Did you purchase a domain mapping upgrade?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains
If so then did you set the primary domain correctly?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#setting-the-primary-domainIt can take between 24 – 72 hours for a domain name change to propagate throughout the internet. We don’t have any control over when DNS caches are flushed and it’s common for the blogger’s ISP to be the last one that flushes their DNS cache.
-
The domain name tleahdesignsblogs.com expired on May 3 when it wasn’t renewed.
Fortunately, the domain is available on the public market and wasn’t picked up by anyone else.
You can re-register the domain by adding it via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.
-
Thank you macmanx. If I re-regsiter it, does that mean that all my past blogs will once again be visible?
can I choose a new domain name that will still show all my old blogs?
I dont quite understand how this works and im not consistent enough to easily figure it out.
I really wish WordPress’ customer service had a phone support line.
-
If I re-regsiter it, does that mean that all my past blogs will once again be visible?
Yes, alternatively your blog is still available at http://tleahdesigns.wordpress.com/ too.
can I choose a new domain name that will still show all my old blogs?
Sure, you can choose the same or a new domain name, just add it via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.
-
Yes, alternatively your blog is still available at http://tleahdesigns.wordpress.com/ too.
How come when I click on that link I cant see any of my past blogs??
-
If you go to the Domains page and set the whatever. word[ress.com address as primary, everything will be back to normal, but your URL will not be your custom URL. Best to just go to the Upgrades/Store page and re-buy the domain and mapping. That not only fixes things, you get to keep your domain name.
-
http://tleahdesigns.wordpress.com/ is the only blog on your account, and the one your tleahdesignsblogs.com domain was mapped to before it expired in May. The most recent post that I see there is from November 17, 2010.
Did you have a self-hosted WordPress blog that you were directing the domain to elsewhere?
-
the wordpress is my primary now and its still not working.
i dont think it was self hosted. I did it through WordPress a while back.
This is very frustrating.
-
Ok, first try clearing your browser’s cache: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
Then, click http://tleahdesigns.wordpress.com/

It does not work for me. I am using Firefox 16.
Server not found
Firefox can’t find the server at tleahdesignsblogs.com.
Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
http://www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. -
I got it to work on Firefox but not Safari.
WordPress should consider live chat or a phone number for customer service. It would really help ease this process and the coinciding frustration for non-tech savvy individuals.
Thanks for the help.
-
http://tleahdesigns.wordpress.com/ is working fine for me.
If clearing your browser cache didn’t help, try a different browser, or try clearing your local DNS cache: http://www.opendns.com/support/article/68
Make sure that you are going to http://tleahdesigns.wordpress.com/ and not tleahdesignsblogs.com.
-
Ok, glad you got it working. Now, you can either work with the blog as-is, or register a domain via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.
