What’s http://imediastreams.com…?
-
I’ve been getting “live hits” via Feedburner from an email address that’s part of the above URL.
All of the other hits say something like “another Google Bot” or “Yahoo”, or some such, but this one has the URL and email address printed out.
Does anyone else get these?

I noticed this morning a new subscriber by that name so I went to their site and checked it out. I’m reserving judgement.

Watch out for their tracking cookies. My anti spyware app picked some out after I visitied their site.
I just visited your site. You dissed canned cool whip (mm..mm….push-button trans fats – yummy!)
So you’re badmouthing KRAFT FOODS ( a real biggie) and I’m badmouthing the National Association of REALTOR’s (an even bigger biggie)

Interesting. I just sent them an email asking why they were spying on me, and telling them that I defintiely deserve a finder’s fee for doing all this work for them.
I hope they pay me!!
[I’m going to try that roast pork recipe. I have one in the freezer. Thanks!]

Alas, they didn’t answer me. How rude! ;-)

They’re gone from my subscribers. It was only that one day. I got no cookies from their site when I visited it.
(that pork roast recipe is killer. do lmk if you try it)

I bought the apple juice, (but I wonder if dried thyme might be ok…?)
I had them there for a couple of weeks. They finally left yesterday.
ROFL. I wonder if they’ll be back?
I was just curious… I don’t really know much about feeds, etc. (and it seems that you can’t get the advanced features from Feedburner, since you can’t paste their code into WP’s templates…? Still true?)
So I usually don’t even know who my subscribers are. I wondered why this was the only one whose name I could read.

I’ll take the food discussion to your blog.
You’re correct that the advanced stats code can’t be used in wp.com blogs, but you know what? When I took my food/politics blog self-hosted, I left the code as is. I use FB mostly to offer email subscriptions without fuss and to have some control over my feed.
If their advanced stats are no more accurate than feed reader subscribers, then… My AOL subscribers haven’t been reported in months, Yahoo is hit or miss and, ironically, Google readers have never been included. But darn, they’ve got the email thing nailed! :)
