What’s not reflected in Statistics
-
I need some clarification on getting a true sense of how many people are reading my posts.
First, readers can read an entire post on an iphone without clicking anything. When readers read a blog on smartphones, is that reflected in the stats?
Also, under the statistics WordPress instructions it says that RSS feeds are not reflected. But I’m not finding the graph that shows those numbers per instructions.
Could someone list what is and what is not reflected on the statistics page?
Is anyone else experiencing ambiguous statistics? -
As long as the smartphones support JavaScript, they’ll be tracked.
What the other portion means is that we have no way of knowing if someone is reading your blog via a feed reader, like Google Reader.

If you have your feed set to Summery then when someone clicks on the link to read the whole Post the click will show up in the Stats on the graph in a different color.
