What’s the difference between a page and a post?

I’m new on here, and I’m wondering what the difference between a page and a post is?
As much help as possible would be greatly appreciated :)

Check out the support site for the main differences but in short,
you can post on a page but you cant add a page on a post.
Pages are static content and and more than one page cannot be viewed at the same time but you can view multiple posts on one page -
Umm rohangupta1, I think you are confusing things. You cannot put “posts” on static pages. You can add content to pages, but you cannot put “posts” on them.
