What's the difference between an email follower and a subscriber?

  I’ve heard from a couple of subscribers that they’re no longer getting email notifications when I publish. I haven’t blocked anyone. I’ve checked my lists, and they are definitely subscribed. #1 – what could be the problem? #2 – can you explain the difference between an email follower and a subscriber?

  1. Would you please ask them to check their email’s spam folder?

  2. No difference, actually, just a language change on our end. “Follower” is the new word for “subscriber.” :)
