What's the difference between the Web address & the Blog URL address?

  Why is it in my “Account” Settings it gives my Web address as http://www.integrationshealth.wordpress.com but in order to access the site one must type in vibranthealth88.wordpress.com? (Also, if I go to my Web browser and paste in the first address…it takes me to WordPress but says that it does not exist??) What is the difference between Website address and Blog address/name? I am thinking about changing the name to an existing domain name I already have – but before I attempt to do that – I want to understand the nuances of this…..
  I thought when I registered with WP and filled in the information there were asking – that the Web/Blog address other people would use to access this site would be the integrationshealth.wordpress.com that I put in as web address……and that later if I wanted to get rid of the wordpress I just needed to upgrade to a .com and pay for it……I did NOT intend to have vibranthealth as the “address”……HELP? Please!

  Each WordPress.com site comes with a free subdomain.

  Your subdomain is:

  vibranthealth88.wordpress.com

  Thanks…….I did already look at that page – I do understand that each WP.com site comes with a free subdomain – but I still do not understand why the subdomain assigned to my site was not the integrationshealth.wordpress.com that I entered…..in coming on board new and signing up with WP that part did not seem clear to me……had it been I would have entered things differently. I will most likely use the “mapping a domain” feature when I am ready……However, for now, I still do not understand why that address (which is my preference) is listed as my Web address in my Account Settings – but then says it does not exist??
