  what’s the ftp info I need to add plugins to my wordpress hosted WordPress. thanks ~ c

  You can’t ftp with WordPress.com as it is a blog service (much like blogger.com) not a web host.

  If you want to add plugins/ftp you need to download WordPress standalone from http://www.wordpress.org and install that on a host of your own. Details of suitable hosts are available on wordpress.org, where there are also forums to help with setting this up.

  WordPress.com blogs do have some plugins already installed however & you may find that the functionality you require is already there.

  Ohhhhh many thanks .. for your relpy and for clarification.

  What I want to be able to do is email my Blog posts to my blog ( including pictures) and, unless I’ve missed something, it seems that I need to add some plugins. ~ c
