What’s the right way to restrict admininstrators by IP?

  I have an e-shop running WP/Woo on Nginx server. Due to hacker attacks attempts I’d like to restrict access to wp-admin. But I’m in doubt: if I add rule like ‘wp-admin deny from all, allow from 1.2.3.4’, could it affect my customers?
