What’s the rule on curse words?

What’s the rule on curse words? I have what i think is a very funny blog, but to tell my story properly I feel I need to use the word sh*t. Is this allowed? I don’t want to do something that’s against protocol but I’d love to be able to write uncensored.
Thanks,

Cyberspace is full of blogs that are full of cursing. Some bloggers even insist they cannot communicate effectively without the use of profanity.

Where censorship comes into play is where the law has defined and that’s in areas like defamation of character (libel). If you want to swear in your blog you can. Here’s a link that will help you comprehend where legal lines are drawn http://en.wordpress.com/freedom-of-speech/

Write away… as long as you’re not libelling or slandering someone — or writing child porn, you’re pretty much good to be as inventive and original in your cursing as you can possibly be.

Jesus tapdancing Christ on a donkey, how fucking often are we going to answer this lame-ass goddam question?
Does that clarify?
