First I was curious if other people get them, and then I was curious how do other get to MY profile, people can get to my blog but not profile. Im sure this is just spam, but they are using the name wordpress so I it must be people associated with wordpress, but I also want to make this aware to the wordpress people out there just in case there was something I was supposed to know about that I don’t know about…

Do you have a contact form on your blog? I get this all the time. And it’s probably just boilerplate text, ie she didn’t read it at all. Note that no identifying details are included.

no I have a contact form on my blog, I do provide my e-mail, but I was told the way I posted my e-mail was supposed to prevent spammers from spamming me. And I just notice the word “interesting” and “remember” are misspelled.

Spammers and such are now able to parse disguised email addresses, and even less complex captcha like images are now able to be machine read. Nothing works or is safe forever.
