What’s up(my queries not being answered)?

I have been observing that Matt and drmike have been answering others queries and ignoring mine. This despite conveying my appreciation for your fantastic features in both prose and poetry.
I am from India and if you guys have any problems against Indians, please let me know clearly and I shall leave immediately. If there has been any drawback on my part, I shall be more than willing to apologize for the same.
I have written for spiritual/intellectual magazines in India and am an acclaimed poet. If you have any problems with such people, kindly let me know. You may have an outstanding platform but ultimately content is what attracts attention and if you have problems with talented
writers, please let me know.India has a huge English speaking population and is a democracy like the United states. Somebody made a post that wordpress was being blocked in china. Why do you want to block India? In India, we have always had a problem of shoddy after sales service. One does not expect that from a world class product like wordpress. I regret to say that you have flattered to decieve.
If this post is unanswered, I shall conclude that you don’t want me around. Best of luck with wordpress, anyway. You deserve to do well despite what happened. God bless you.

From your profile page, it looks like most of your threads aren’t questions as such, more like bug reports or suggestions for improvement. These have a much better chance of being noted if posted in the ‘Ideas’ section, or through the feedback link in your admin panel.
I doubt very much that anybody is snubbing you based on your nationality or the quality of your poetry. It is just that these forums have really taken off in the past couple of weeks, and no single volunteer has time to respond to every single thread. Generally we pick the ones we can answer and hope that somebody else can help the others. Inevitably some slip through the net. Try not to take it personally.

Sir, your last post was just one hour ago. We’re not all sitting here checking every 20 seconds for a new post. WordPress is mostly user-drive and many of us have other obligations during the day.
This post does not pose a question about WordPress or a problem with it. I’ll go back and see if I can find your other posts. But do be patient. We’re all very busy here and oftentimes posts are ignored because the question has been answered in a previous thread. All that is required then is a simple search.

Thanks for the reassurance. Actually, I am new to blogging and wordpress. Some mistakes are bound to happen like ( posting in support instead of ideas) for which I would like to apologizie. I had made five queries and nobody answered any of them. I could not fathom why and so had to seek a clarification.
I have twenty years of management experience and can appreciate your teething troubles and the fact thay you cannot answer every twenty minutes.
The United states and India are the world’s oldest and largest democracies besides having large english speaking populations. They should have always been friends and let us carry on further on that note.
I very much appreciate your reply and hope that there are no problems on either side. I look forward to my association with you. Thanks once again.

One thing I probably should have pointed out in my previous post:
The only people here who have any affiliation with WordPress are those with ‘Key Master’ under their usernames, and naturally they have a lot of other stuff to do besides support. The rest of us are just users, like you, who help out when they can. (Well, drmike has a few more responsibilities, but he’s still a user, not an employee.) So if we don’t reply to a thread, that has nothing to do with wordpress.com and is not a failing on their part, it’s just that none of the volunteers felt able to deal with it :)

There are only a few keymasters around. However, I haven’t seen many problems that we “members” can’t solve! Our collective knowledge is very thorough.

Only problems I have with Indians are the Cleveland Indians. But I’m an old Yankees fan so…
I also politely point out that my first wife was from North Vietnam. :)
Most of your posts have been about moving data over from your old Blogger account to your new WP account. The reason why I haven’t been answering is that I know very little about blogger and have absolutly no access to the scripts that WP uses to make these transfers. While I’ve done work with scrapping information from webpages, which is what these transfer scripts are doing I’ve been told, I’m not familiar enough to offer any help in this process. I’ve discussed the methods use with one of the admins whose name escapes me and I can’t find the thread in gmail. I’d rather stay out of it as i would hate to tell you something incorrectly.
And I would be the first one to admit when I don’t know something. :)

Very nice of you all to clarify, specially considering the fact that you are not answerable as you are not part of wordpress staff. Initially, I got the impression that drmike was a key master because of the number of queries he was answering. Thanks again.

Nah, I’m just like that. :) I also have this thing about seeing support requests go by unanswered or even unacknowledged.
