what's wrong with Comet?

  Comet looked perfect in live preview but not when activated. When I previewed it there was not one single problem: every item in my sidebar was there, plus, of course, the entire main content.
  Having activated it, I now find all sidebar items at the bottom, and some of the main content section chopped off.
  I know it’s to do with column size; but I simply can’t work out the ratios needed – kraftbj seems to be the kind with that.
  And WHY DID IT PREVIEW OK if it wasn’t working?
  Can you give me the CSS code – or, better, put it into the custom CSS for me, please?

  Done it again, haven’t I? :-(
  APOLOGIES TO ALL SUPPORT STAFF.
  Once I deleted the pre-existing additional CSS code (having forgotten it brings itself along when changing templates), lo and behold! – Comet is looking good.
  A lot more good than is its latest user.
  Another senior moment.
