what's wrong with the "like" button?

one queston, please: is the “like” button out of order today?… at one of my posts it shows: 10 bloggers like this and if I click on “them”, there are about 40! whaz up, guys? other bloggers have had the same “problem”… thanx in advance! Mélanie

No 35 do. The rest of the Gravatar display is collapsed. Click the link provided there 35 bloggers like this. That’s normal for all of our blogs and has been for months now.

There will never be a display of every Gravatar. Are you clear on that? There will only be 10 displayed and to see the rest you must click the link
In this post http://freestar9.wordpress.com/2013/12/12/94/ go to the Gravatars and below them click the link for “11 bloggers like this.” When you do that there will be a pop-up box that displays them all. -

thanx again, I did know, of course, that only 10 were usually displayed, it seems the problem has been solved, it does display the right number of likers: 38. Very strange, indeed!:-) It’s been THE only post in this case and several bloggers have encountered the same puzzle… have a pleasant weekend, good luck in all your endeavours and friendly thoughts, Mélanie

When I go to your site I see ten Gravatars for likes but then the total underneath, like this:

Bonjour-Hi Jackiedana and thanx for your input, but I did mention above the problem had been solved…:-) It was THE number that appears under the displayed gravatars that was wrong: it said 10 and only by clicking on it, one could see there were 51(now)…:-) I do confirm that several bloggers had the same “bug” for a few hours. On that post, I see the exact same thing in Firefox and in Chrome (21 bloggers):

Today on that post I see: 36 bloggers like this using Firefox 26 and using Internet Explorer 11, and using Chrome 31.I think you MUST have a browser issue of some kind. Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
