When adding a new category (Palestijnen), the name is changed (into "Palestijnen")

  When adding a new category (Palestijnen), hyphens are automatically added and the name of the new Category is changed into “Palestijnen”. I do not want that. Palestinians are a people without hyphens.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Right now, you have a tag with the name “palestijnen”. If you’d like to change that so it doesn’t have quotation marks around it, you can go to Posts > Tags in your site’s dashboard and search for Palestijnen to find that. You can also use this direct link:

  https://robertvanwaning.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=post_tag&post_type=post&s=Palestijnen

  If you hover over that tag, you can click on “Edit” to edit the name of the tag.

  If you create a category in addition to that tag, the category can be named Palestijnen but the category slug (what’s used the link to that category) will be palestijnen-2. That’s because you already have a tag with the same name.
