When are you going to fix your security?
-
EVERY TIME I try to post a comment on a WORDPRESS blog I run into issues. Today I tried to post a comment using my email address, which seemed like a valid choice, but effing WORDPRESS still wanted my password, and when I entered it, it said it was no good and I needed to create a new one. This shit has been going of for years, makes me want to avoid all WORDPRESS blogs, which is unfortunate because some of them are very good. When are you shitheads going to get your heads out of your asses and fix this shit? Never mind, it’s been going of for years and you’ve shown no signs of wanting to fix it, so never is what I expect, so FUCK YOU.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I think I know where this is coming from; while the WordPress tools are the same, each site owner has control over how they want their comments section to work, so it’s not a consistent experience. Personally, I think this is a good thing; it gives authors some control over how they engage with their audience. For reference, this is what the settings page looks like:

As you can see, they can require their visitors to be logged in (sometimes here, sometimes directly on their sites), but they can also leave the comments completely open. It’s up to them to decide!
That said, just a heads up that we do not tolerate abusive language. I know things can get frustrating sometimes, but using that kind of language won’t help solve the problem. We’re here to assist you (I can see my colleagues have helped you in the past!), but we can’t continue to provide support if you talk to us like that. Let’s focus on what’s important and treat each other nicely! :)
