When can I buy my expire domain?

One of my friends originally bought the domain for my website. It has now expired and he said that he doesn’t have the money to renew it. A message came up saying that it expired on my website, so he told me that he hit cancel on it.
So far the domain is still working, but will I be able to have someone on my site buy it back sometime this week before it goes out to the public?

Hi there – the domain icewarriorsarmy.com expires today, but if you log in as the user who bought the domain name you should be able to renew it for another week or so.
If you’d like us to transfer ownership of the domain from your friend to you so that you can renew it under your own account, just have your friend log into their account and leave us a message in this thread confirming that it’s OK for us to do that.

It’s my friend who works on my site that will be getting ownership of the domain. I’ll have him comment on here ASAP, and I’ll have the owner of the domain comment ASAP too.

Jack is the friend that will be getting the domain to renew. I don’t know if the owner will be on tonight either. What will happen to the domain if he doesn’t come on today D= ?
