    Hello there!

There are a two issues I see occurring:

First is that your domain, while mapped properly, isn’t set up as the primary domain on your site.

Therefore, your customers and visitors are taken to http://thepeakdeli.wordpress.com/ rather than http://thepeakdeli.com/.

To make your custom domain your primary URL, please go to the following link:
    https://thepeakdeli.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

Select your custom domain name. Then click Update Primary Domain.

Also at issue is that it can take up to 6 weeks for Google to index new/changed sites. I highly recommend reading this link:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

I encourage your to set up your Google Webmaster Tools to increase your visibility on that search engine.

Also, another article I believe you might find fruitful for your website’s SEO is:

I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

well i completed those steps in the domain area prior to asking the question, thinking i was missing something, but it still does the same thing; nothing, or wont redirect. this is what comes up: Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    Hey there!

this is what comes up: Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Your name servers still haven’t been changed. Basically, this means that your custom domain name (thepeakdeli.com) is not pointing at your WordPress.com site. You need to adjust these name servers in order for your domain to work properly.

You’ll need to change your name servers with GoDaddy to:
    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

I searched on GoDaddy’s site and found their instructions on how to adjust your name servers:

    https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/12317/setting-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-us?locale=en

Once you’ve done this, it can take up to 72-hours for changes to appear throughout the internet. But once they do, you can re-set thepeakdeli.com as your primary domain.

That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)

Hey. When I entered the name servers it came up with error message; invalid TLD error. What does that mean?

This is what is listed under name servers now; Nameservers NS17.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
    NS18.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

    Hello there!

You’ll need to check in with GoDaddy support, as I don’t have access to your domain configuration. You can let them know that you need to change the name servers for thepeakdeli.com to:
    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

Once they’ve helped you change those, you should be in good working order.

    Thanks.
