When changing themes, what else changes?

    When changing themes:
1- Will it migrate all your posts? (written or photos)
2- Will it change your posts in any way?
3- Will it alter your photo gallery options?
    4- Will anything else change?
Apparently it doesnt migrate your widgets or header settings or am I missing something?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    1. Of course. (Actually it’s not a case of “migrating”, it’s just giving a different appearance to the same content.)
    2. Depends on what you mean by “change”.
    3. No.
    4. Depends on the theme – can’t give a general answer.
(5a.) Widgets move to Inactive (because the structure of each theme is different: some have one sidebar, some have more than one sidebar, some have footer widget areass as well or only footer widget areas). You just go to Appearance > Widgets and drag your widgets to the widget area(s) of the new theme.
(5b.) If by “header settings” you mean the header image: each theme has different header dimensions, so you need to re-upload the image. For best results create a new version of the image, in the exact dimensions the theme specifies.

ok, that answered most of my questions. Out side of alteration of the blog due to different column widths, I assume nothing else changes. I noticed pw always tries to get rid of a line between paragraphs so I always have to add it back in when altering the post. When I go to a new theme, I would hope I wouldnt have to go back and alter each post.
