When Creating Posts, WP jumps to top of page

  When I am adding links or images to posts on my blog, WP has a habit of jumping to top of page all the time. Any suggestions how to stop that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi authorcamilson,

  Thanks for reporting this. Can you also tell me which browser and operating system you are using? Both pieces of information can be found on supportdetails.com.

  We’ve received a few reports of the link and add buttons causing jumping behaviour on Windows but once I know more about which browser and operating system you are using, I can pass that information to our developers.

  In the meantime, is there an alternative browser you can use where this doesn’t happen?

  I use Opera and Chrome. It happens on both browsers. Use win 10 OS, 64-bit

  We’ve passed that info along to our developers, thank you. I can’t promise when a fix will be available, unfortunately.

  I do want to mention this is not an issue in the new block editor, as it works significantly differently from the current one. So you might consider giving the new editor a try :)

  I am still getting page jumps on every post, regardless if adding link or image.

  This is something our developers are still looking in to, so thanks for bearing with us. As @kokkieh mentioned above, we’re unable to give you more of a firm date at the moment.

  I was having this problem starting back in September 2017 (my post about the problem is closed to comments) https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/new-update-link-button-forces-me-to-the-top-of-the-page/page/2/
  The work around was using the old old editor from the dashboard.
  However the problem seems to have been fixed and I wanted to say Thank You.
