When do comments show after moderation?

  Today, I had four comments for moderation in which I approved. I think the comments went to moderation because the poster listed her two links in the posts. After I found out who she was, it was fine as far as her listing her links…no problem. Thought I give some background.

  The question is about when the comments are approved. How long does it take for comments to show up on the sidebar widget, Recent Comments, and the comment number under the post? As by WordPress standards?

  Before, I noticed that approved comments took almost a day to show up on the sidebar and as a comment number.

  Mainly I am just curious. I am new to WordPress so I ask questions when I don’t know. :)

  Well, since I posted my query, it seems the approved comments are showing up with little delay.

  They should show up right away. There was probably a caching glitch. If you notice it again, try clearing your browser cache.
