When do I get my confirmation email?

  I am trying to get a website started (mapping domain name to wordpress). Chosen a theme but cannot activate it. Do I need a confirmation email to start (I signed up over a week ago).

  Have you created a free WordPress.com URL yet? You’ll need to do that first as you need something to map your domain to.

  If you didn’t receive a confirmation email when you created your site, check your email’s spam folder and also the Social tab if you use Gmail. There should also be a link to resend the email on your dashboard if you’ve already registered a blog.
