When do I have to stop using the journalist theme?

    I have read that the journalist theme has been retired. As I’m still using it, I guess this means there is some kind of a transition period. Can you tell me when it will end and I’ll have to actually find a new theme?

    Hi there! You do not have to change unless you want to. Since you already have the theme installed on your site, it’s ok to leave it undisturbed. However, because it’s retired, this means as we make upgrades to WordPress.com features, they may not be updated on your theme.

    If you’d like to look for another theme, please visit:
    http://theme.wordpress.com/

    Be warned: If you activate another theme, you cannot reinstall Journalist. While you can move back and forth between “live” themes, once you leave a retired theme, it is not retrievable.
