When domain mapping, WordPress becomes the hosting account of my domain?

    Hi!

    I have mapped my domain to WordPress but I’m not sure this implies that WordPress will host my domain, because if this is not the case I would prefer to map the domain to a hosting account I already have.

    Hi,
    descodidotcom.wordpress.com is hosted on WordPress.com. If you have a custom domain you can map it to content on WordPress.com or point it to another host. If you list your domain name, I can provide more specific information.
