When edit a page, why do I get "wordpress is not responding"?

My problem is editing a page. When I paste new content to the page, the page will not update and the message appears “wordpress is not responding”. Then the page resets and I start over again and the same thing happens. I tried to update a page yesterday and had the same problem.

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://whatbrowser.org/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

Thank you for the suggestions. I did steps 1-3 and was able to edit and post on my blog. My browser is current. Your prompt attention is appreciated.

Perfect, try turning your add-ons back on. If they problem is gone, then all you needed to was either clear your cache or turn on third-party cookies.
If the problem comes back, disable each add-on individually until you find the conflict.
