When editing my post, my photos were moved around; paragraphs were messed up

I have had this happen to 2 of my posts: When editing them (to make simple, little edits), photos are moved, text becomes wrapped around the photos (which is not how I want it), and paragraphs are being combined into one huge paragraph. I have to basically deconstruct/reconstruct my post.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

IF you have anything beyond super-basic formatting, do your edits in the Text editor. That avoids this issue for the most part.

Could you give instructions, please? I may already be doing that.

What I do is this: While viewing my post, I simply click on the word “edit”. The word “edit” is located near my tags. — I then notice that things are scrambled! Thank you much, Raincoaster!

No, that’s not it. In the Classic editor, you have two tabs on the Edit page: Text and Visual. Click Text.

I was saying that as soon as I entered the edit mode, my post was immediately scrambled. For example, photos moved to the right, text wrapped around them; paragraphs combined. The post looked great in viewing mode, I went to edit it, it immediately became altered, and that was that. But don't worry about it. It's another one of those situations where doing with something with another person, via typing, is too difficult. But thank you!

Well, if doing things with other people via typing is too hard, we might as well close down the internet.

If you click to use the Text editor a few times, it will learn and then will always open in the Text editor.

    Dear Raincoaster,

I think you misinterpreted or misunderstood what I meant. I meant I it’s difficult to type about the problem. It would be easy to SHOW someone if they were sitting next to me. No one is, and I’m trying to describe something that is happening on my screen.

I’m sorry if my wording ruffled your feathers. I’m not sure why it would though. Hopefully I was the most annoying person you had to deal with on that day. :)
