When exporting, will I keep images?

  Hi.

  If I choose to export my blog-data because I want to move it to another one, will I also keep the images included in the posts, the will the URL still be correct?

  I’m about to move from a wordpress.com-hosted blog (arcadeberg.com) to a wordpress.org blog I’ll post (using the SAME domain).

  I couldn’t find any info on this in the FAQ.

  The images are not exported, but they will be hotlinked and will all still work. But if you set your WP.com blog private, they will vanish from your new blog. And if you delete it, I believe all your images go poof as well.

  By hotlinked, do you mean they are linked to their current location on the wordpress.com-hosting?

  Yes, that’s what I mean. WP still hosts them, but they show them in your new location. Image URLs remain the same as before the export.

  Is there anyway to change the properties of all image-URLs on my blog?
