When I add an image in a post it doesn't show up.

  When I add images in posts at first they seem to be there… but shortly thereafter they disappear. I end up with a text link that says something like “0_jpg(12)” and when I click it it takes me to a 404 error page. My site is https://twofeetwide.wordpress.com. I’m leaving Sunday (4/26/2015) to hike the PCT and need this resolved ASAP. Please help.

  Hello there!

  When you add images to your Media Library, and then add them to your pages/posts, do you make any adjustments to the file in the library? Or, does everything remain the same?

  On first glance, I don’t see any broken images on your site. Could you provide me with a link to a post or page with a broken image, as well as a link to the image in your Media Library? Then, I can troubleshoot the issue further for you.

  Hi there..
  Thanks for getting back. I believe what happened was the image never loaded in the first place. I went back and uploaded another one and it showed up. I then deleted that one and reloaded another and it showed up as well. I deleted the image that didn’t show and it looks like everything is working right.
  I’m a newbie at this stuff and since I’m waiting for the last minute trying to understand everything I’ll have to learn as I go.

  Thank you so much for getting back to me. No problem at all — I think you are absolutely right. It does sound as if the image hadn’t uploaded originally.
