When I Attempt To Map The Domain…
-
When I attempt to map the domain screenphiles.com, it tells me that it’s mapped to a WordPress.com blog already.
What I am trying to do is renew the domain–I already purchased it through Godaddy–so I am assuming that it’s already mapped to my blog, and all I need to do is renew it.
I have no idea how, nor why I would have more than one screenphiles.com registered with WordPress.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I would be happy to assist you in renewing screenphiles.com. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into renewing the subscription upgrade. However, you should be able to renew the domain if logged into the account that owns the upgrade.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

This process so confuses me, as does my email being somehow associated with another account. The only email addresses that I am aware of using with Screenphiles are (email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff) (the latter account no longer exists).
When this matter is straightened out I want to do whatever is necessarily to get rid of any other Screenphiles accounts that aren’t my main one.
Thank you.

Hi there,
If you can log in using the first email provided, you should have access to the mapping subscription and be able to renew it.
If you still have access to the email connected to the account, you can enter that email address in the password recovery tool. Please check your spam folder for the recovery email if you don’t receive it in your inbox immediately:

That’s the problem: There is no longer a ‘fastermac.net’ email provider.
How can a recover a password from an entity that no longer exists?

Hey there,
I’m not referring to the latter email, but the first gmail email you provided. I’m not mentioning the exact email because the ones you provided has been redacted from public viewing to prevent spam – only staff like myself can see it.
So, if you can log into the account associated with that email address, that will confirm your ownership.
Thanks!

Thanks for your assistance, though that’s not possible. Reason being, I have changed the original password since then–at least five or six years ago–so I would need to reset it via that email address.
Which leads the the heart of the problem, Fastermac.net no longer exists (as far as I know, since OWC gave it away to another company) so I can’t reset because I can’t get the email.

Hey,
I don’t think we’re on the same page unless I am misunderstanding what you are saying.
I am saying that the email associated with the account is notthe Fastermac.net , but the gmail email you provided. Are you saying that you do not have access to the gmail email either?
If things still aren’t clear, I’d be happy to email you to better sort things out.
Thanks!
