What browser do you use? Have you tried if it works when using a different one?
When testing, make sure your browser allows third party cookies. Then clear all cookies in your browser before logging back in.
If you’re using any anti-tracking add-ons in your browser, also check if disabling those make any difference.

Just adding that if you Liked someone else’s post they may not have Likes enabled on their site, so it won’t appear publicly. The site owner will still see it.
