When i click on any of my posts, a summary of my 'about' page shows up below

  When i click on any of my posts, a summary of my ‘about’ page shows up below the post with the title “Published by”

  I just recently edited my about page and i suspect it has something to do that.

  I have search for a way to turn this off in the setting, but can find anything to help.

  I really don’t want edits i do to my static pages to be showing up like posts.

  Please help.

  Hi Jessie!
  I believe this is related not to your About page but to some text you added to your “profile” page in your site admin. Try these steps to see if it solves the problem:

  1. Login to your WordPress account
  2. Click the “Users” link in the left admin sidebar (this takes you to the old WP admin)
  3. Click “My Profile” link under the Users section
  4. Do you have any content in the “About Me” section on this page? If so, and you’d rather have that information on your About page instead of at the bottom of each post: cut the text from this section, click “Update Profile” button near top left of page, and paste the text into your About page.

  I think that should solve it – hope it helps!
