When I click on the alarm bell on right of site nothing shows up. It never has!

I’m trying to receive information from where it should be retrievable. The alarm bell on top right hand corner of my site gives me NO information when I click on it. Just an empty space with those titles, even when I KNOW there should be information awaiting me.
