When I click on the like button on other people's posts, nothing happens.

The problem is not with my wordpress site. The problem is that when I click on the “like” button on other people’s posts, nothing happens. The count of “likes” does not increase, and when I go to “posts I like” under Reader, none of the posts I have tried to like are registering as being liked. I’ve had this problem with posts on three different wordpress blogs so far.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you generally tend to Like numerous posts, you may have been tagged as a spambot. I’ve tagged this for Staff assistance. Please be patient while waiting for them to reply to you.

No, that is not the problem. The blogs I’m visiting have recently visited by blog and have “liked” one or more of my posts. So I’m just going, for the first time, to see if there is something I like on their blogs. I’m definitely not a spambot.

By the way, maybe I should mention that when I click on the “like” button, I get a small popup screen. The pop-up doesn’t say anything, it’s just a blank screen. And it pops up very briefly, like in a flash, and then it’s gone. But my “like” for that post does not register. The post count does not change at all.

It sounds like you maybe have third party cookies disabled. You can visit here to find out:
There are directions there for enabling them as well.
Let me know if this doesn’t resolve your issue.

Looks like that was the problem, Shawna. I had to go into Settings in my Chrome browser to unclick “disable third party cookies,” but doing so did apparently fix the problem. Thank you SO MUCH!
