When I click publish, why doesn't it show my post when I reopen the window?

    Every time I write a new post, I look at the preview, usually do an edit, select the tags and category and then I hit the “publish” button. When I then go to the Dashboard pulldown menu and choose Noebelldreams, I see the new post and it tells me (like it did tonight) that I have published X number of posts, which is accurate. HOWEVER, when I close the window and then reopen Noebelldreams in a new window, the post I just published does NOT appear. It is still on the editing page and I have to hit “publish” a second time for it to show up. This has happened several times now, and I cannot figure out what is going wrong. If I hit publish and “see it” published before I leave the site, then why doesn’t it show up when I open a new window to my blogsite?
