When I click ‘update’ I get a long pause, but no updates post

  I’ve checked with the domain host, and the site is up & configured correctly. What could cause a long delay when attempting to update?

  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, I’m sorry you’re having trouble with your site, but it’s not a site hosted here at WordPress.com.

  Instead, it’s a site using the software from https://wordpress.org/ and hosted with Hostgator.

  That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we can’t help with here.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/ we cannot assist with this.
