When I click update the code I added to embed a link gets deleted

  I am trying to embed a link to a another site. When I click update the code gets deleted. The code is below. Can you advise is this because it is a free site or free theme or other reason? If because free site can you advise the minimum upgrade needed to allow embedding e.g. premium?

  Hi there – That’s not working because it has an iframe, which gets stripped out here on WordPress.com. Does this service provide a plain HTML widget that doesn’t an iframe? That would work. Otherwise, you could use an image for the service, upload the image to your blog and display it it in an image or text widget in your sidebar, and then link that image to the external service: Image Widget
