When I copy the link to my blog to facebook it still says protected

  I want my site to be live. When i copy the link to my latest blog the url that I copy says it is protected.

  When I copy the link to my site it copies correctly. If I want to share the one post I have either by copying the link or by clicking on the Facebook share button it shows that the blog is protected and I need to login. Please help. I would like to start promoting my page. Thank You

  I know this sounds weird, but you’ll need to ask a friend who has never shared one of your posts before to share a post. This will kick Facebook’s cache back in gear. The only other know alternative is to wait for it to clear out on its own in about a week.

  If that does not work then Facebook has yet to flush their caches and we have zero control on that but you can try using the Facebook debugger to expedite this by visiting https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
