  I email a link to my latest post, but the link goes elsewhere the first time it’s clicked on.

  My site is http://www.US-Issues.com which runs on WordPress.com.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Could you please paste in here one of the links which you emailed? One of the links which goes the wrong place when you click on it the first time. I’ll take a look and see what I can find!

  Where did they go when you first emailed them? Just to a “page not found” error or to entirely different pages that you didn’t recognize?

  Also, has this happened to any new posts, or has it cleared up?

  It happened with 4 or 5 posts, and the link went to another of my posts on WordPress. The last link I sent was several days ago, and I told the person I emailed that, if it happened, try clicking again or clicking on the Home tab on my site.

  One time I tried emailing myself, and the same thing happened. But when I clicked the link again a little later, it went to the right page!?

  Hi Bob,

  This is very strange. I cannot see why the links might be sending your visitors to different pages on your site.

  I have followed your blog temporarily. When you post again, I will get a notification and hopefully I’ll will be able to replicate this problem and see what is going awry here!

  Hiya Bob,

  I didn’t think you had posted, but I just realized when you wrote in that my notifications were being filtered because of an email rule I had set up a while ago. So sorry about that!

  This message had already been clicked on by someone else I suppose because it took me directly to the correct article without me needing to refresh anything.

  I have sent you an email to the address we have on file. Could you please follow the directions I included there and we’ll see if we can’t get any further traction on this?
