When I go to write a new blog there is not option to add photos. What do I do?

  My editor is not showing an add media button. I am in the middle of writing a new post and wanted to add an image. There was a create gallery button at the bottom, but every time I added a photo and tried to save my draft it said there was an error and no photos were added to the blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Ditto to this … me too. I thought it was something I’d done. Obviously not.

  It’s a common problem. Short answer is to post with photos use the dashboard >posts>add new option for now. The long answer is in this thread. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/posting-articles-2?replies=81

  That is standard operating procedure at WordPress.com. If you want to know why, ask staff in that thread. They have yet to respond.
