When I insert and image it doesn't show up in my article

  I have tried a couple times to put an image in my posts. I click the icon, select the image off my computer, watch it load to 100% then it never shows up when I published. Can someone tell me what I have done wrong please?

  After it has loaded are you actually clicking ‘Insert into post’. Stupid question i know, but i have to ask, to rule it out. Also what browser are you using? And what size image are you uploading?
