When I make a new WP post a notification is sent to FriendFeed. How do I stop it
-
Sometime ago I set it up so when I made a new blog post on my WordPress.com blog a notification would automatically be sent to FriendFeed. Now I don’t want this anymore, but I can’t remember how I set it up, and I can’t find a setting anywhere in the Dashboard for my blog to turn off that feature.
I thought it might be some sort of plugin, but after reading I discover plugins are only for hosted (.org) blogs. Mine is wordpress.com
Can anyone help or suggest a fix? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It wouldn’t be a setting at WordPress.com unless you mean the RSS feed. You can turn that off, but only by setting your blog to Private.
It’s probably something you can configure over at Friendfeed.

Thanks. I am pretty sure it is not a native Friend Feed setting. I have looked through all the available settings and I can’t find any such option. Anyway my vague recollection is that it wasn’t done via the Friend Feed site.
I think it might have been a third party service similar to http://www.twitterfeed.com which takes feeds from various sources and sends notifications to twitter and facebook etc. However in my case it sends it to Friend Feed! (and I’ve checked it isn’t actually Twitterfeed!)

Well, you can probably get some additional help but not until you’ve given us the URL of the blog you’re talking about, starting with http.

Hi Raincoaster, thanks for your input so far.
Further investigation has revealed that you wree right, and there is a setting in Friend Feed that drags the post title out of WordPress blog and posts a message via FF.
For any others who might be searching for the same option, it is under Settings/Twitter Publishing Settings.
:)
