when i make changes from my dashboard, they do no show up

  my home page is not displaying properly. i have tried everything recommended (deleting cookies, cache, etc.) to no avail. how can i get some help with this? is there no online support at all?

  changes to widgets. i am just getting started and what is showing up on my page is not the same thing that shows when i go to appearance, then widgets. there are things that are on my page that i thought i have deleted but are still showing up. how can i just start over (which is what is was trying to do)?

  For widgets, you might be seeing the default widget set (most themes have a default set). Try adding any new widget and then check your home page again to see if the update worked.

  If you’re still having trouble, please post back and verify the blog URL and let us know what widget you tried to add.
