When I opened my new blog it had deleted by sub-header in my header page

When I created my new blog it asked to put in information on the title and sub-header. Today when I opened it, the subheader was replaced with “modern business theme” instead of the text that I wrote. I would like to get that text back, but can’t find it. Also, it added a whole bunch of other pages to my blog that I did not add. I can figure out how to get those pages off, but where is my text for the sub-header? I can’t remember exactly how I wrote it and I liked what I had in there!

The Site title (blog name) and/or the optional Tagline can be changed on the top of this page at any time. > Settings > General … “save changes”.
That is exactly where search engine spiders look for the site title and removing it from there can cause issues with getting your content indexed. Note that the site title (blog name) and blog address URL do not have to be the same but it’s better for SEO (search engine optimization) if they are the same.

Your blog is private. Volunteers cannot view it and trying to help when we cannot see the blog is like working with blinders on. Staff can view private blogs and that is why I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. Hi. thanks for your response and I am subscribed to the topic. I can change the tagline, but what happened was it seemed as if it was changed for me. It was reset to some default that said “modern business theme” when the day before it had read what I originally had set up as my tagline. the next day, it was changed along with adding all these default pages as well.
Was just confused as if it was something I might have done unknowingly or if wordpress was somehow updating for the new year (the same time I was starting this blog) and I lost that content information. The only thing I had done between starting the blog and the next day was download the app to my phone so I could update there as well. -

I just took a quick look at your site. Are you saying that none of the pages that are currently there are yours? The ones about the kids, etc? If not, are there any pages or posts which you have made?
In regards to your Tagline, I’m afraid we don’t retain that information once it has been changed. If what is up there now is not what you wanted, there isn’t anything I can do to retrieve what you had before. I apologize!
