When I post it says topic closed and the topic was started 41 years ago

  Wow! You were using wordpress even before Matt Mullenweg was born! I would think that qualified for a prize, or at least a gift certificate to Starbucks.

  I understand the ridicule I’m getting right now but for the past 9 hours I’ve been uploading this video for you guys so you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

  I think its kind of a serious bug and I checked a moment ago and it is still happening. You have to understand I made my original message short because I didn’t even know if it would go through and not get blocked by this 41 yr old topic. I still have a genuine question to answer regarding moving my domain to my new wordpress.org blog and then using site redirect, which is what I’ve been trying to post in the forum for.

  So I wonder if I could still get that Starbucks certificate? =) Granted my math was wrong and 41 years ago should actually be 1970. I really never got past that 2000 mark in my head. :P

  @panzerpuff, please don’t take my post above as ridicule toward you. There have been date snafu’s around wordpress before and I was in actuality taking a shot at them.

  The thing is, no one else is having this issue, so it seems like something to do with either your account, or perhaps with the fact that you copied and pasted. There have been a lot of spammers lately doing large blocks of copy and paste and it could be that akismet has is now set to look for that.

  I’ll tag this for staff attention and hopefully they will reply and check this out for you soon.
