When I press the cancel domain button it does not work.

    I now longer wish to own my domain through wordpress.com because I no longer use it. Said domain as expired but word press will not let me cancel said expired domain. How do I cancel said domain so i may purchase it elsewhere?

    Howdy,

    Don’t cancel! A cancelled domain can take many weeks before it is returned to the marketplace to be purchased elsewhere and there is a process in place to transfer domains to a different registrar.

    At the “winning” registrar (as it is called), you’ll purchase another year’s worth of the domain which will be added on to the end of the domain’s current term.
