When I schedule posts, they are not publishing

I have scheduled two posts recently to publish the morning after I write them and neither have worked, the latest being today. The posts stay in the ‘all posts’ lists as drafts even though they are passed the publish date and time.
I have my time zone selected in settings and can’t see what else the problem might be so would be grateful for your help, please.

Which posts are you referring to? Can you send me a few links?
Note that when you schedule posts for publishing, after you enter the custom date and click OK, you have to click the Schedule button to schedule the post for publishing. If you just use the Save Draft button, the post will not be published on schedule.

I can’t be 100% sure that I followed your procedure (which seems a bit onerous to be honest as we should be able to set a time and click OK for it to work).Therefore, I’ve done it again and am waiting for the results; here’s the post link in question…

When you change a post’s date, the Publish button becomes the Schedule button – so you still have to click on it to sign off on the post and confirm that it’s ready for publication. If you just use the Save Draft button, we can’t know if you’re still working on the post or not, so we don’t publish it – even if it might miss the schedule.
Let us know how it goes with the new post.

All seemed to work this time – thanks again and I’ll try to remember the proper procedure from now on :-)
