I named my blog afunlifeforever.com, yet when I searched for it online, (google) it doesn’t show up. Why does it show my blog’s name as lesliejeanne18? I paid for everything, my theme is Yumblog. I don’t understand. Please help. Thank you, Leslie

    Hi there,

It looks like your domain: afunlifeforever.com is not pointing to us at WordPress.com yet.

    • ns1.bluehost.com
    • ns2.bluehost.com

    You can view this here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=afunlifeforever.com

Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

    • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:

Thank you Grace! I did those steps, hope it works. Another question, why does it say my web address as lesliejeanne18? I would like to change that if possible…how do I do that? Thanks again! Leslie

    Hi Leslie!

It looks like there might be some crossover between your sites that we need to clean up. It looks like you have three sites on your account currently:

lesliejeanne18.wordpress.com (mapped domain afunlifeforever.com and Yumblog theme)

    afunlifeforever.wordpress.com (mapped domain afunlifeforever.com)

    afunlifeforever.com (Jetpack site)

Since it sounds like you’re moving your site to WordPress.com, I can remove that Jetpack site for you. Can you just reply back to confirm? That won’t impact your site content.

Then, to help clean this up, we’ll only want to leave afunlifeforever.com mapped to one blog (not two). How about we do the following:

    1. Export the content from lesliejeanne18.wordpress.com

    2. Import it to afunlifeforever.wordpress.com

    3. Move the theme and domain over to afunlifeforever.wordpress.com

At this point, we’ll have everything all setup at afunlifeforever.wordpress.com so that you will not see lesliejeanne18.wordpress.com in your address bar any longer. Then, we can delete lesliejeanne18.wordpress.com from your account.

At the end, you’ll only have the following site:

    – afunlifeforever.wordpress.com with domain afunlifeforever.com and Yumblog theme

    How does that sound?

I decided to only have wordpress.org and not wordpress.com
How do I cancel wordpress.com from my account?
    Thank you, Leslie

    Hi Leslie!

Sounds good – I’ve cancelled and refunded all upgrade purchases from WordPress.com. You can see that here:

    https://lesliejeanne18.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=billing-history

If you would like, you can delete lesliejeanne18.wordpress.com and afunlifeforever.wordpress.com from your WordPress.com account following the steps here:

    Delete a Website

Please make sure you export any content before deleting the site though. Export instructions can be found here:

    Export Your Website’s Content
